Candidates who entered for re-sit examinations in the November 2024 series: you can collect an updated copy of your Statement of Entry, including your re-sit entries, immediately after Assembly, front of Hall, senior side.

There will be a tutorial for students sitting the English Scholarship examination after school today.

There will be an open door History tutorial every Monday lunchtime from next week. It will be in H3 and is open to any student in Form 3-7 needing help with History.

If you missed the Options Briefings for 2025 Subject Option Selection on Monday or Tuesday, you can attend a catch-up Briefing, and collect a copy of the 2025 Course Handbook, next Monday at lunchtime in L7.

Options Evening will be held next Tuesday, beginning here in the Great Hall at 6pm, and concluding at 8pm. Options Evening is a great opportunity for parents and students to ask questions and get answers about the range of subjects and courses on offer at Grammar.

Scholarship Earth and Space Science will meet in G2 at lunchtime today. Contact Mr Maguire in the Geography Department with any questions.

There is a meeting for the student leadership of the Science Bowl in Physics Lab P4 at lunchtime today.

The Tuakana Teina group will continue to meet Friday lunchtimes in the study centre.

There is a meeting in C16 during Interval today for all students taking part in the Practice Journey next week.

Next week Auckland Grammar will be running its annual Foodbank collection for Auckland City Mission. One in five Auckland families is currently struggling to put food on the table.

In 2022-2023, City Mission distributed more than 50,000 food parcels and provided food and general supplies to 50 local food banks and community organisations.

Next week Interact will be collecting donations of non-perishable food (tinned food, rice, pasta, Weetbix etc) and hygiene products (toothpaste and soap). As with last year, there will be a pizza lunch for the junior (3rd and 4th form) and senior (5th, 6ht and 7th form) form class that donates the most food/money.

Members of the Muslim Prayer Group are to meet in P7, at lunchtime today.

Senior students interested in attending Manukau Institute of Technology are invited to a course planning session during lunchtime on Tuesday, 13th August in the Heritage Room.

Form 6 and 7 students interested in studying in Melbourne are invited to join us on Friday 9 August, in the Heritage Room during lunchtime for a presentation from Trinity College - University of Melbourne.

Form 7 students who were in contact with Mr Laing last term regarding university entrance literacy credits should attend a writing session in E3 next Monday (August 12) after school. These are mainly students who received Ungraded in Cambridge English last year, plus several NCEA students who are new to school. E3 on Monday, after school. Bring the essay topics with you.

All members of the Junior and Senior Badminton Teams to play in the Auckland Secondary School Badminton Championships on Thursday 15th August must meet with Mr Lee in AR4 at interval today.
