Tennis
Introduction
Auckland Grammar School offers Tennis at a junior and senior level with competitions held within the school and at regional and national events, including Tennis Nationals, Champion of Champions, and the traditional Quadrangular and Christchurch Exchange fixtures.
Teams are available for competitive players (that is, layers who have played interclub) and non-competitive players.
Any students who are joining Grammar, who are graded at S9 or higher, should get in touch with Master in Charge of Tennis A. van den Heuvel as soon as possible at the start of the School year.
2022 Captain of Tennis Carlson Lim spoke to Headmaster’s Heritage Committee member Saikrishna Bangalore about the strengths of the team this year and how, despite the team being relatively new, they are able to grow, evolve and work together – watch his interview below.
