The Auckland Secondary Schools Chess Championships will take place on Thursday 24 August at the Michael Avenue Community Centre, Ellerslie, with eight students from Auckland Grammar School competing. This event is the Qualifying Tournament for the National Championship.

The Premier Tennis team will take on Rangitoto College in their second round of the competition on Wednesday 14 February at home (the Ngatira Tennis Club), with the match starting at 4:15pm.

The Premier Tennis team will take on Macleans College in their third round of the competition on Wednesday 21 February at home (the Ngatira Tennis Club), with the match starting at 4:15pm.

The Premier Tennis team will compete in the finals of the Auckland season when they take on Westlake Boys' High School on Wednesday 13 March at the Scarbro Tennis Centre, with the match starting at 3:30pm.

The Central Zone Chess Championships will take place on Thursday 15 August with 8 students competing.
