Each senior class (Forms 5, 6 and 7) will have an academic briefing in the Centennial Theatre. Form 7 students will have their session on Wednesday 9 March. Students in classes 7A to 7H will have their session during period 4 (11:45am-12:25pm) and classes 7C1 to 7H1 will have their session during period 5 (12:25pm-1:05pm).
New teaching staff will have a full induction day to Auckland Grammar School on Friday 21 January, followed in the afternoon by the Headmaster's reception for new staff and partners.
Students in Form 4, 5, 6 or 7 wishing to make option changes prior to the start of the 2022 academic year must come to the Deans' Suite during the day on either Thursday 20 January between 10am-3pm or Friday 21 January between 12pm-3pm to organise.
There will be a staff only day on Monday 24 January prior to all students returning to the School.
Auckland Grammar School will begin its 2022 academic year with all students starting back on Tuesday 25 January.
Form 3 students will have their ID photos taken after their full cohort photo in the Old Gym on Tuesday 25 January between 1:20pm-2:50pm.
UPDATE: Due to New Zealand being in the Red traffic light setting, the New Parents' Music Information Evening has been postponed until further notice. Parents whose sons are new to Grammar in 2022 are invited to attend the Music Information Evening on Thursday 27 January from 5:30pm in the Centennial Theatre.
The North Island Rowing Club Championships will be held at Lake Karapiro from Friday 28 - Sunday 30 January.
The Premier Water Polo team will compete in the 2022 Delfina Tournament from Friday 28 - Monday 31 January, to be held at Sacred Heart College.
The School will be closed on Monday 31 January for Auckland Anniversary Day.
Form 6 students taking Careers Studies as a subject will take part in a half-day safety course on Wednesday 2 February in the Old Boys' Pavilion.
