The annual Nga Manu Korero Regional Te Reo Māori Speech Competition will take place on Thursday 23 June, with 10 Auckland Grammar School students taking part.

During daily assembly in Term 2, there will be weekly performances from a number of the School's Cultural and Musical groups. On Thursday 23 June, the School's Big Band, led by Head of Performing Arts Mr Eddie Hare, will perform to the student body.
The School's Scholars group, Proceres Grammartici, will take a full-day field trip to the Bioengineering Institute at the University of Auckland on Thursday 23 June. It will give students the opportunity to interact with post-graduate academics, view the projects they are working on, and understand how important research is tertiary education.
The 1st XI Football team will take on Sacred Heart College at home in round 8 of the season on Thursday 23 June, with kick-off at 4pm.
The School will be closed on Friday 24 June for the first annual Matariki holiday.
The 1st XV Rugby team will take on hosts Tangaroa College in round six of the 1A season on Friday 24 June, with kick-off at midday.
The Premier Disc Ultimate will compete at the Auckland Indoor Championships which will take place on Sunday 26 June.
The Team Time Trial series is a six-race event that determines the Auckland Schools Cycling Championship. The squad will be divided into senior and junior teams of 4-5 boys in each team. The School will be closed on Monday 27 June for all staff and students as an extension of the Matariki holiday.
Representatives from UNIST (the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology), based in South Korea, will be on campus on Tuesday 28 June during period 8 in the Heritage Room of the School library.
The 15th Grade Football team will take part in the next round of the Knockout Cup with a game against Northcote College at home on Tuesday 28 June, with kick-off at 3:30pm.
Round two of the National Brain Bee competition will take place on Wednesday 29 June, with students heading to the University of Auckland to participate.
