Maori and Pasifika Engineering students from the University of Auckland will speak to Technology students during a visit on Thursday 8 September.
During daily assembly in Term 3, there will be weekly performances from a number of the School’s Musical groups. On Thursday 8 September, the School’s string group Grammar Virtuosi will perform to the student body.
The Junior Volleyball team will compete at the Junior Qualifying Tournament on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 September at Kelston Boys High School, which is the qualifiers for the Auckland Zone Championships.
A select group of Form 3 and Form 7 students, along with Form 3 Dean Mr Matt Cuming and Form 3 Associate Dean Mr Kerry Wait, will visit King's School on Friday 9 September.
Form 6 students taking Business Studies as a subject will complete their Market Day internal assessment during lunchtime on Friday 9 September.
Representatives from various New Zealand universities will be on site during August and September to assist students with course planning for studying in 2023. On Friday 9 September, representatives from Lincoln University will be in the Student Services Office (at the back of the School Library) at lunchtime.
A group of international students will take a half-day trip to Long Bay Regional Park from 10am-2pm on Saturday 10 September.
Race 5 - the final race - of the Auckland Secondary Schools Cross Country Mountain Biking Championships will take place on Sunday 11 September at Waitawa Regional Park.
The School's Rowing squad will take part in a training camp ahead of the 2023 season at Bethells Beach on Sunday 11 September.
Form 7 students taking Careers Studies as a subject will take a half-day trip to MIT in Manukau on Monday 12 September to learn more about a diploma in Engineering or Trades.
