20 students from Proceres Grammatici, the School's scholarship group, will take part in a full-day field trip on Wednesday 16 August with two destinations. From 9am-12:30pm, the group will head to the Liggins Institute at the University of Auckland, before heading to the Aerodynamics Lab in Newmarket for the afternoon.
Form 6 students taking Careers Studies as a subject will complete a two-day first aid course in the Old Boys' Pavilion on either Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 August, or Thursday 16 and Friday 17 August.
The Junior Premier and Under 17A Basketball teams will compete at the Auckland Championships at Trusts Stadium in Henderson on Wednesday 16 and Friday 18 August.
During Term 3, representatives from New Zealand universities will speak to students about their courses and further information for studying in 2024. On Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 August, representatives from the University of Canterbury will be on campus in the MMT at lunchtime.
After the success of the inaugural Golf Evening in 2022, we warmly invite all Old Boys to the second annual Golf Evening on Wednesday 16 August at the Remuera Golf Club (120 Abbotts Way, Remuera).
The 1st XI Hockey team will host King's College in the final round of the Auckland competition, on Wednesday 16 August, with the game starting at 6:30pm.
The Premier Badminton team will compete at the Auckland Secondary Schools Badminton Championships on Thursday 17 August, with 11 students participating.
During daily assembly in Term 3, there will be weekly performances from a number of the School's Musical groups. On Thursday 17 August, one of the School's choirs, Grammarphonics, will perform to the student body.

A small group of Form 3 and Form 7 students will visit Kowhai Intermediate School on Thursday 17 August to discuss what it is like to be a student at Auckland Grammar School. Students will leave during lunchtime and be back in class for period 7.
