Violin and Viola

The violin is a prominent voice in the Symphony Orchestra and Grammar Virtuosi, while students are encouraged to consider learning viola as a complementary instrument by Form 5. The high standard of string players at our School fosters a competitive yet inspiring environment, with violin and viola students enjoying rich performance experiences.

Due to high demand, lessons are generally offered to students with some prior experience rather than complete beginners. Instrument hire is available through the Music Department, subject to availability.
