Tuba

The tuba provides the foundational bass for the brass section, adding depth and resonance to the Symphony Orchestra, Premier Concert Band, Big Band, and Wind Band. Skilled tuba players are highly valued, as they anchor the sound of these ensembles with their rich tone and strong rhythm.

Students choosing the tuba can expect to be in demand for numerous performance opportunities. Instrument hire is available through the Music Department, subject to availability.
