Cello

The cello is a beautifully expressive solo instrument and a key voice in chamber music, such as string quartets, as well as in larger ensembles like the Symphony Orchestra and Grammar Virtuosi (our Chamber Orchestra).

Cello lessons are especially recommended for students with prior music experience and are ideal for skilled pianists looking to expand into a second instrument. Instrument hire is available through the Music Department, subject to availability.
