Cambridge examinations begin today and run through to November 14th. During the first two weeks of term this will require a large number of room changes. The main blocks affected are the English block and the Science block:
- The top floor of the Science Block, rooms S7-S12, is completely out of action this week.
- The entire English block is being used for exams period 6 and 7, every day this week.

Affected classes should have been informed of their room changes at the end of last term. Schedules listing all room changes are posted on the Courtyard noticeboard and the noticeboard outside L7.

The main examination venue is the Study Centre. For the duration of the examination session, the area between the Main Block extension and the Study Centre is effectively out of bounds.

Whenever you see one of the "Exams in Progress" signs, whether it is during lessons, at interval or lunchtime, or at the end of the school day, you must move away quietly. If you see one of the "Exams in Progress" signs in a doorway, you must not enter the building without the permission of a staff member.

The 2024 Tutorial Programme for NCEA, Cambridge and NZQA Scholarship is now available on GrammarNet. For any queries relating to the Tutorial Programme, please contact the relevant Head of Department.

The timetables for both the Pre-Q and Junior examinations are now confirmed and these have been published to GrammarNet, the School’s website, and on the noticeboard in the corridor between A10 & A11.

Students who have applied to join the Navy in 2025 may be eligible for the Johnny Bull Scholarship. For more information, please see Ms. van Deventer in Student Services today.

Cancelled today, these will resume from next Monday.

Students interested in performing in next year’s production are to meet in M1 tomorrow lunchtime.

Members of both Grammarphonics and Grammar Voices are to meet in M1 at interval today.

Duty starts this week. If you are not sure which day you are on please look at the roster which will be behind the issues desk.

Athletics trainings resume this week and are open to anyone interested. For the current training schedule, see the Athletics noticeboard outside the Sports Centre or contact Mr. Leiseder.

Today's javelin training has been moved to Tuesday afternoon 3.30pm, while Sprints training will take place tomorrow morning 7.30am instead of Wednesday.

There is a meeting at lunchtime in H2 today for students participating in the Nationals at the end of this year.

Junior Touch training begins after school today on the lower field.

All Junior Softball players are to meet outside B7 at the start of interval today.
