Free tutoring is offered by experienced senior students over a wide range of subjects during lunchtime today. This is an excellent way to help you prepare for your common tests and examinations. Come along to G6 at lunchtime today. All are welcome.

Cambridge certificates for the November examinations will arrive in school in March next year. Students currently in Form 6 and will receive their certificates in person.

Leavers: you will be contacted when certificates are ready and you will be able to collect your certificates from School. If you are moving away from Auckland and therefore unable to collect your certificate, you can arrange for your certificate to be couriered to you. You will need to confirm your address and contact details with us, and the form for this is available on your GrammarNet dashboard now.

You may apply for a derived grade for an NCEA external standard if you have been selected, by a registered National Body, to represent your country in a nationally selected team in a sport or approved activity. If you believe you might be eligible, you must request pre-approval, as soon as you have confirmation of selection. Applications cannot be approved after the event has taken place – pre-approval is required. Individuals or teams chosen by invitation, an application process or competition winners do not meet the criteria for national selection. If you wish to find out more information, you must see Mr Maguire.

The Physics study session is this afternoon in Lab P4 from 3:30-5pm.

The Examination Timetable, Clash List and the Rooming Guide are now confirmed and these have been published to GrammarNet, the School’s website, and on the noticeboard in the corridor between A10 & A11. Students are reminded to check the Rooming Guide carefully to make sure that they know where to go for every examination, on the correct day, at the correct time.

Learning Support exam lists for Friday, 13th and Monday, 16th September are now up on the wall. If this applies to you, please check that your details are correct today.

A reminder that Route Cards must be emailed to Mr Bidet before the end of the day.

Media filmmakers group, meet today at lunchtime in A1

Senior students applying to Otago University are invited to a course planning session during lunchtime on Thursday, 12th September in the Heritage Room.

There will be no Disc Ultimate training this Sunday. The Old Gym is being used for examinations.

Trainings will resume outdoors next term.

Auckland Grammar will enter two teams in the Junior inter-school competition which begins in Week 2 of Term 4. Trials will be held in Week 10 of this term. Players in Forms 3 and 4 who wish to trial for a place in these teams must register their names with Mr Pope in A1 at the start of lunchtime today or tomorrow.

Social Touch begins in Term 1 next year.
