Cambridge and NCEA will identify candidates who have unavoidable exam clashes once all entries are processed. Solutions to Cambridge vs Cambridge and NCEA vs NCEA clashes will be solved later this term. Be aware that entering for an AS resit and/or a Scholarship exam may create an avoidable clash.

Cambridge vs NCEA clashes must be identified by individual students. The combined external examination timetable is displayed on the noticeboard between A10 and A11. If you identify a Cambridge vs NCEA exam clash, please list it on the Exam Clash Form on the noticeboard so that we can plan a solution for you. The deadline for this is Friday 16 August.

If you missed the Options Briefings for 2025 Subject Option Selection last week, you can attend a catch-up Briefing, and collect a copy of the 2025 Course Handbook, today at lunchtime in L7.

There will be an open door History tutorial every Monday lunchtime from next week. It will be in H3 and is open to any student in Form 3-7 needing help with History.

All NCEA 2 students who have not completed their crafted writing are reminded to attend a catch-up session in the library after school today.

Options Evening will be held tomorrow, beginning here in the Great Hall at 6pm, and concluding at 8pm. Options Evening is a great opportunity for parents and students to ask questions and get answers about the range of subjects and courses on offer at Grammar. You are reminded that if you plan to attend, you must do so in full Grammar uniform.

Gear collection will take place today after school in the Sports Centre.

Reminder to bring along your donations of food or hygiene products for the Foodbank collection in support of City Mission this week. The junior and senior form class that donates the most will win a pizza lunch.

This week we are celebrating everything library and books, students are invited to visit the library at morning interval or lunchtime to take part in different competitions every day as well as challenges running all week.
Prizes will be handed out on Friday when all winners will be announced.

The Headmaster's Environmental Committee is organizing a collection of used uniform items to promote sustainability and support our school community. If you have any uniform items that you have outgrown and are still in good condition, please drop them off at the Biology office, located between S5 and S6 in the Science block.

Senior students interested in attending Manukau Institute of Technology are invited to a course planning session during lunchtime on Tuesday, 13th August in the Heritage Room.

Senior students interested in attending Massey University are invited to a course planning session during lunchtime on Thursday, 15th August in the Heritage Room.

Some New Zealand university scholarship applications close on 15 August. Students must ensure time for Student Services to electronically check and validate the University of Auckland applications before then.

2024 Leavers' Gear is now available for purchase, exclusively online until the 25th August.

Form 7 students who have been in contact with Mr Laing regarding university entrance literacy need to attend the writing session in E3 after school today. These are the students who received Ungraded in From 6 Cambridge English, plus NCEA Level 3 boys new to school this year.
