All sixth form students who are studying NCEA 2 English and were away last Friday are strongly encouraged to complete the unfamiliar texts question in E7 today after school. Please note that this counts towards the examination.

The Physics study sessions continue this week, but on Wednesday afternoon due to the Term 2 examination series. Students can bring their homework or challenging problems from any of the Pre Q, NCEA or Cambridge courses and get assistance from accomplished 7th Form Physicists and staff. The session is from 3:30-5pm in Physics Lab P4.

The Examination Timetable, Clash List and the Rooming Guides are now confirmed and these have been published to GrammarNet, the School’s website, and on the noticeboard in the corridor between A10 & A11. Students are reminded to check the Rooming Guide carefully to make sure that they know where to go for every examination, on the correct day, at the correct time.

There is a Brain Bee meeting in S6 at the start of interval today.

Any students in form 5 who would like to participate in a Geography Quiz competition early next term, please attend a meeting in G5 at lunch time today.

There is a meeting for all committee heads and sub-heads in LS3 at interval today.

There is a pizza lunch for all library monitors in the foyer of the Centennial Theatre at lunchtime today.

Spaces are still available for school holiday STAR courses in Building and Electrical trades. See Ms. van Deventer in Student Services to register.

There are a few spaces available on the 3-day STAR Course for the Defence Force in the second week of the school holidays. See Ms. van Deventer in Student Services for more information.

There are a few spaces left for the Workplace First Aid course taking place in the Old Boys Pavilion on Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20. If you are interested in gaining a Workplace First Aid certificate, please see Ms. van Deventer in Student Services to enrol.

All Forwards in the 5B rugby Team are to meet in B7 at the start of interval today.
