History Olympiad
All students from Form 3-6 interested in the History Olympiad, a competition which test your general History knowledge, should meet in H3 at lunchtime today. This is recommended to all students interested in History or Classics, including those who do not take these subjects.

Term 2 Examination Absences
If you know that you will be absent from School on the day of an examination, you must obtain pre-approved Headmaster’s Leave. Failure to do so will result in a mark of zero.

Bell times for today
Bell times will be adjusted today, from period 5, because of the Form 4 Parent Teacher Interviews that start at 3.00pm:
Period 5 - 12:15 to 12.55pm
Lunchtime - 12:55 to 1.30pm
Period 6 - 1:30 to 2.00pm
Period 7 - 2:00 to 2.30pm
There will not be a period 8 class today.
Please note that any student who wishes to attend the interviews must do so in full School uniform

Blood Donation Day
NZ Blood Service’s database of donors is reducing, they need you to help those New Zealanders who rely on blood and blood products to survive.
The New Zealand Blood Service will be in the Old Boys’ Pavilion this Thursday. So it’s time to help your community and give blood.
There are certain criteria you need to meet before you can donate blood:
• You need to be aged 16 years or older
• You need to weigh at least 50kgs
• No piercings or tattoos in the last 6 months.
• You need to be well, no chesty coughs, sore throats etc.
In the first half of lunchtime today and tomorrow members of the Leadership Team will be at the front of the hall collecting the names of Form 5, 6 & 7 students who wish to donate blood this Thursday. Please sign up if you are keen to help the community.
