Tuba

The foundation of the brass section, students who play the tuba are able to join the Symphony Orchestra, the Premier Concert Band, the Big Band or the Wind Band when they have reached the required level of competency.

Instrument hire can be arranged through the Music department, subject to availability – please contact the Music department for further information.

Good tuba players are extremely rare and can become the most sought after musicians in Auckland.
