Cello

The cello is a beautiful, expressive solo instrument, in chamber music (such as a string quartet) and a vital member of the Symphony Orchestra and Grammar Virtuosi (the School’s Chamber Orchestra). Instrument hire can be arranged through the Music department, subject to availability – please contact the Music department for further information.

Cello lessons are highly recommended for students with prior experience of music such as pianists who want to learn a second instrument. Lessons are taught by The cello is taught by Vigdis Relph.
