Pre-Classification Testing
The pre-classification test is a general aptitude test. Students sit this test towards the conclusion of their Year 8 studies before coming to Auckland Grammar School. This test accounts for 20% weighting in determining a student’s Term 1 provisional class placement.
NOTE: for students doing their pre-classification testing at Auckland Grammar School, students must be dropped off by Gate 4 (outside the Old Boys’ Pavilion) no later than 9am on the morning of their test where they will be escorted to the testing venue. Parents will collect their sons from Gate 4 at the end of the test at 10:50am. All students must bring a pen and a pencil with them.
